The Euganean Hills (Colli Euganei) rise just south of Padua, a region rich in volcanic soil and natural beauty, dotted with vineyards, olive groves, and historic villas. This tranquil countryside is ideal for producing high-quality wines and award-winning olive oil.
Our day begins with a visit to a family-run winery nestled in the rolling hills. You’ll walk among the vines and learn about the area’s volcanic terrain, then enjoy a guided tasting of their signature wines — from crisp white varietals to bold reds.
We’ll then enjoy a traditional lunch at a local trattoria or agriturismo, where regional dishes are paired with local wines.
In the afternoon, we’ll visit an artisanal olive oil mill where you’ll learn the production process from tree to bottle. The tour concludes with a guided tasting of olive oils and other gourmet products.

Pick-up from Piazza Bra in Verona (other pick-up locations can be arranged). - 11:00 am
Visit a nearby Soave winery. Meet the winemaker and learn about the wine making process, followed by a full guided wine tasting of their wines. - 1:00 pm
Traditional lunch at a typical trattoria or agriturismo. - 2:30 pm
Stop in the small medieval town of Soave and time for a stroll or a walk up to the medieval castle. - 3:00 pm
A scenic drive through the gentle hills to the olive oil producer. - 3:30 pm
Visit the olive oil producer and learn about how this traditional product is made.
Your visit concludes with a guided olive oil tasting. - 4:30 pm
Leave Soave for your return journey.
